Turbine Bypass-Bypass Valves-Angle-
Flow Up, TBX

TBX Series valves reduce both steam pressure and temperature to enable daily cycling of a power plant. In addition, they protect reheater tubes, condenser, and piping against excessive pressure, temperature, and enthalpy excursions during steam turbine trips.

Turbine Bypass- Valves-Globe-
Hybrid Globe & Cooler

Combined pressure and temperature control for low pressure applications. Multiple globe designs available coupled with integrated cooler section to match service requirements in an in-line orientation.

Turbine Bypass-
Spargers

Design TBX sparger is a back pressure device that is an integral part of a well designed turbine bypass system when discharging to either water cooled or air cooled condensers. The design is critically important to minimize system noise and optimize turbine efficiency.

Other Engineered Valves-
Process Steam Conditioning

TBX design for pressure let-down with or without desuperheating section.

Other Engineered Valves-
Polymer Flow Control

The HVP design incorporates a continuous flow path for viscous polymer fluids at sustained high temperatures to prevent freezing and product degradation.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Interstage Attemporators

Design DMA/AF HTC is used in cycling service common to superheater interstage attemporators and severe service applications that have a significant difference in steam and water temperature and are subject to high vibration.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Multi Nozzle/High Capacity Steam Cooler

Design TBS-T steam coolers have multi nozzles producing fine spray for rapid vaporization. The steam cooler section can accommodate a silencer, which decreases steam pressure energy in a controlled velocity expansion.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Mechanically Atomized

Design DMA is a simple mechanically atomized desuperheater with single or multiple, fixed-geometry spray nozzles intended for a steam conditioning applications with nearly constant load.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Spring Loaded, Variable Geometry

Design DMA/AF is a variable-geometry, mechanically atomized, back-pressure-activated superheater interstage attemporator, designed for applications requiring control over moderate load fluctuations and high thermal cycling.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Self Contained, Variable Geometry

Design DVG/AF is a variable-geometry mechanically atomized, self-contained steam conditioning desuperheater for moderate to high flow variation.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Steam Assisted

Steam conditioning Design DSA desuperheater uses high-pressure steam for rapid and complete atomization of spraywater in low-velocity steam lines.

Desuperheaters/Attemporators-
Venturi

Steam conditioning Design DVI desuperheater injects spraywater in the outlet of the venturi section, assuring excellent mixing and rapid atomization.
